By booking a grooming appointment with Telford Cat Grooming, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before confirming your booking.
A £20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure any grooming appointment.
Deposits can be transferred to another appointment if rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Appointments are not guaranteed until the deposit is received.
Full payment is due on the day of grooming, unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will forfeit the deposit.
If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Deposits can be applied to the new appointment if notice is given.
Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
All cats must be in good health at the time of grooming.
Owners must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or behavioural concerns.
Cats with contagious conditions (e.g., fleas, mites, ringworm) must be treated before grooming. Grooming may be refused for unwell or unsafe cats.
Grooming is performed using gentle, cat-friendly techniques in a dog-free, calm environment.
For extremely nervous, aggressive, or unmanageable cats, we reserve the right to:
Shorten the grooming session
Use muzzles, gloves, or calming aids
Reschedule or refuse grooming to protect the cat’s welfare or safety
No sedation will be administered; sedation must be prescribed and administered by a veterinarian.
Grooming includes brushing, bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and trimming as agreed in your selected package.
Severe mats or tangles may require shaving; this is for the cat’s comfort and health.
Owners will be informed of any coat condition issues before grooming proceeds.
Owners agree that Telford Cat Grooming is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or health issues that may arise during or after the grooming process, except in cases of proven negligence.
Cats with pre-existing medical conditions, behavioural issues, or fragile health may be groomed at the owner’s risk.
Owners are responsible for disclosing all relevant information about their cat’s health and behaviour.
Payment is accepted via card, bank transfer, or cash at the appointment.
Prices are subject to change; the price at the time of booking applies.
Extra charges may apply for:
Severe mat removal
Specialist styling beyond the booked package
Extended handling time for difficult or nervous cats
With your consent, photographs of your cat may be used for marketing purposes (social media, website, gallery).
You may opt out by notifying us at the time of booking.
Personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR requirements.
By making a booking and paying the deposit, you confirm that:
You are the owner of the cat being groomed, or have the owner’s permission.
You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
You consent to Telford Cat Grooming taking all reasonable steps to ensure your cat’s safety and wellbeing.
